31 Blog Challenge: Day 1

I am excited to do this challenge for one reason only…consistency. I have such a hard time keeping up and considering it takes 21 days to form a habit…31 days should do the trick, right?

Day One Topic: Introduction

Considering I’ve been sharing things about myself for 2 years, I sat and pondered on what to say? I thought about starting from the start of my life but I don’t even remember all of that ish. Then I thought about writing about events that shaped who I am today, but it was hard condensing it to one moment. Alas, I decided that maybe I should share anything that randomly pops in my head…so…here it goes.

When Life Gives You Lemons

I have always been a half-full glass type of gal, like seriously I am one of those “things happen for a reason” type of person and believe God does not make mistakes and everything that happens is for his greater purpose. Overtime, I grown to believe that my lack of understanding his plan won’t stop whatever that is going to happen in my life.

Things you may have already know from Social Media Sites

For starters, are you following me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or Tumblr. If not, get on that.

If you have followed me on any of these platforms you’d find that I am a thickalicious broad that is learning to embrace life. I’ve been married to my best friend for nine years and enjoying spending my life with him. My family and friends are so important to me and I have grown even closer to them these last couple of years.

If I could describe myself in one word it would be…

In my podcast interviews I always ask the staple question ,”if you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?” To answer this question, I would say resilient.  I have literally had to an individual mental battles to accomplish all that I have. No matter the obstacle I fall and pick myself back off. Laying down and just taking it has never been my style.
